Eleuthera Bahamas

Guide to Eleuthera Resorts & Hotels

The resorts and hotels listed on our pages are some of the best on Eleuthera. The words “hotel” and “resort” are used loosely here. Lodging on the island ranges from condominiums and townhouses in a resort-like atmosphere, to standalone luxury beachfront residences. You can also find smaller mini resorts made up of cottages or apartments. Our satellite map of Eleuthera provides a bird's eye view of the more notable and popular accommodations. The map can also help locate nearby beaches and restaurants to these resorts. Read a few of our reviews to learn about some of the nearby attractions and points-of-interests.

Resorts typically share, or are close to, some of the best beaches on Eleuthera. Amenities and accommodations vary so it pays to do your homework well in advance. Some resorts have tennis courts or fresh water swimming pools while others may have restaurants on or near the premises.

Many travelers going to the Bahamas prefer booking directly to get their best experience, value and guaranteed reservations. The resorts listed here independently own and operate their web sites and can accept your reservations directly. If you do decide to book through a travel agent or third party agency, read this page on vacation rentals.

There is a little something for everyone on the island. The laid back and peaceful island vibe is always present. Resort amenities typically include water sports such as surfing, boating, kayaking, bone fishing, deep sea fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling. Eleuthera offers most any kind of water sport you might expect from a visit to a “Bahamas Out Island.” One of the more popular island activities is just hanging out at the beach and reading a good book while enjoying a cold island beverage. We recommend asking what activity options are offered and how accessible these are from where you are staying.

Marriage in the Bahamas is easily accommodated. Some resorts can make all of the arrangements for that perfect Bahamas beach wedding. Eleuthera is well suited for those unforgettable family vacations, weddings, honeymoons and romantic island escapes.
