Back of the card reads: "South Point, the southernmost tip of beautiful Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas with miles of pink sand beaches and abandoned lighthouse provides vistas and seascapes unsurpassed anywhere in the entire Caribbean area." For years, it was considered one of the top points of interest on the Eleuthera. Disney has since bought the property and is planning on using it to disgorge 1000s of its passengers from their new mega sized cruise ships. This, no doubt, will permanently change the face of Light House Beach and Point.
