Old Photos & Postcards Featuring Delancy Town, Lighhouse Point, Winding Bay & Tarpum Bay

These are old restored photos and postcards are various scene from South Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas.

Notes of interest: Lighthouse Beach, just south of Bannerman Town, is one of the most famous beaches on Eleuthera. Visit our page on Eleuthera beaches to see current photos of the area. Winding Bay is to the north of Rock Sound. Winding Bay was originally purchased by Juan Trippe, founder of Pan Am Airlines, for development but was never implemented. The Venta Club was built there later but is now closed. Private homes current line the bay. Visit the above link for Winding Bay Eleuthera to see current photos of the area. The quaint small town of Tarpum Bay is to the north of Winding Bay on the Exuma Sound side of Eleuthera Island.
