Eleuthera Restaurants
Eleuthera restaurants offer a variety of menus from Bahamian style local fare to fine dining and cuisine. Menu items range from fresh fish to steak to lobster to pizza. Some of the more common entrees include conch fritters, grouper fingers, wings, barbecue ribs and seafood platters. Dress codes are quite casual and cover-ups are recommended if you are just coming in from the beach. Each restaurant has a little different twist of Bahamian atmosphere -- some with magnificent oceanfront or beachfront views of the island.

Our recommendation is to call in advance to be certain a restaurant is open and to ask what their hours of service are. Making advance reservations, especially with “fine dining” establishments, is highly recommended. When calling, it can't hurt to ask whether there will be enough of your favorite fresh fish, seafood or conch on hand.

Tippy's Restaurant - The latest creation of renowned chef / restaurateur Peter Birkwieser. According to the New York Times, Tippy's is “at the center of the Island's emerging social whirl”.
