Eleuthera Restaurant Review
The Beach House :: Club Med Beach Eleuthera
Next we tried the Shrimp Stuffed Goat Cheese with Prosciutto. Again, a generous serving of six large shrimp. The salty prosciutto contrasted so nicely with the creamy goat cheese. This was one enjoyable small plate.
Our tummies were getting full by this time, but our taste buds were saying to go for one more. So we opted for a Greek Salad. This was another generous “small” plate. All of the components of the salad were crisp and fresh. Plus it was a great presentation with all of the varied colors of large chunks of tomatoes, cucumber and feta cheese, with kalamata olives and a light handful of onions thrown in. All of this is lightly dressed with a vibrant oil and vinegar based Greek dressing. We couldn't finish it that night, so I can tell you it was just as good the next day for lunch.
All of the above were enjoyed with a glass, or maybe two, of cold California chardonnay for me and a glass of home made herbal blend iced tea for Perry. When asked about the tea, Michele said it is a blend of various teas and is whatever mixture they come up with at the time they're making it.
In addition to the tiki bar and tapas restaurant, there is also a boutique on premises. It must be open the same hours as the restaurant, as it was open when we were there for dinner and was still open when we left later that night. The boutique offers a variety of beautiful fashions for adults and fun clothes for kids, as well as jewelry and home décor. Be sure to check it out while you're there.
The Beach House is a great alternative when you are visiting Eleuthera. It is a one-of-a-kind restaurant, offering delectable, fresh and fun dishes you truly will not find anywhere else on the island.
The Beach House Tapas Restaurant and Bar is located on Old Banks Road in Governors Harbour on the island of Eleuthera. Their phone number is 242-332-3387.
